Carbon Conclave Series Sponsor!
Theme: “Power Market Dynamics"
As AI chip companies reach staggering highs on the stock market, the growing demand for power for AI and digital technologies is glaringly clear. How is the power sector responding to the growing demand? Can it keep up? What level of investments will it take?
The climate crisis is a serious concern. How is the power sector leading efforts to decarbonize? Which technologies is it favoring, which hold the biggest promise? How will it balance between renewables and fossil fuels?
How strong is the grid infrastructure in the US? How well can the grid provide for growing demand, as well as ensure power reliability during extreme weather-related events? How strong or vulnerable is the grid? What measures are needed to grow and strengthen the grid?
We are excited to share, our speaker at this conclave is Mr. Caleb Stephenson, Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations at Calpine Corporation. He is a leading voice in the industry and brilliant in his understanding and assessment of the dynamics of the power markets. Please come listen to him talk about the key themes in the US power markets.

Carbon Conclave Series
“Carbon Strategy to Execution”
The Houston Strategy Forum is hosting a Carbon Conclave Series to facilitate meaningful, in-depth discussions on Carbon Capture Utilization and Sequestration (CCUS).
We are inviting speakers to address the various areas involved from strategy, regulations, design, infrastructure and execution. Each conclave discussion will build on the previous conclaves in the series and provide connectivity across the various elements so the entire picture can be pieced together.
About Conclaves
Conclaves are intimate, candid, roundtable discussions between attendees and the speaker, conducted in a safe zone where we follow Chatham House Rules and do not invite the press.
The discussions are commercial free/agenda free. We do host sponsors, however, at the forum the discussions are always content driven and not sponsor sales-pitch driven. These are serious, real and honest discussions without fluff.
Conclaves are designed to build a sense of community and connectivity among executives and professionals.
The discussions are held over lunch from 11:30 to 1:00, so speakers and attendees can attend without affecting their schedules too much.
